First off I know a lot of people on here are published in a lot better places and a lot more skilled than I can ever hope to be - but I am over the moon !

I received a message through Flickr from the Tatton Park Flickr group / Cheshire East Council

Hello Jon
I have just come across your great images and particularly like the ones of the Japanese garden. Would you be happy for us to use it for our marketing purposes, i.e website, leaflets, postcards etc and we will obviously credit you wherever we use your image. If you are happy with this please can you email me at [email protected]

Look forward to hearing from you
Many thanks

Have agreed for them to use it so long as I am credited wherever it is used and they are sending me a free family ticket for Tatton Park

Well chuffed :) and the image in question is

Japanese Lake by Jon Parry, on Flickr

Thank you mate, very kind :)

Grew up in the North East (edge of the North Yorks moors) living in Cheshire now

It is absolutely beautiful and completely different in each season :)

I would love (sort of long term plan) to move back at some point

I was in Stokesley (North of Northallerton) - how about you ?

Just over the boarder in Barnard castle but worked in Northallerton for 12 years and now work in leyburn. Have a stunning commute every day :)

Oh, very nice mate, wonderful part of the world :)

Once of my best ever commutes was from Stokesley to Caterick Garrison when I worked at the MoD years ago - a damn site better than my trek down the M56 into Manchester now ..........

Love the still life image.

I used to work near Stokesley (Swainby and Great Ayton). Why would you move away from that area lol

Cheers :) - It was Stokesley Show I entered it in

lol, i grew up in Stokesley - lived there 20 odd years so know Great Ayton, Swainby, Hutton Rugby area really well (worked in Hutton Rugby for 4 years)

Only really moved away as the job opportunities at the time were terrible. Still have family and friends in and around there so we get back relatively often :)
