Using laser cutting machine processing to cut 4mm thick aluminum sheet metal into a 2 meter long chassis structure the In Win S-Frame is made using complete one piece metal with CNC polishing processes. The Sixth Element is solidly constructed from 0.6mm SECC Japanese steel and beautifully finished in an elegant black and blue colour.
The 6th element is extremely user-friendly and it gives the user great expandability and versatility. The screw-less feature and pre-cut holes on the motherboard plate (for tidy cable routing) make this chassis easy to work with. The pre-cut cable routing holes are also protected by high quality rubber to prevent cable damage from sharp edges. Finally a CPU hole has also pre-cut on the motherboard plate for ease or cooler assembly and removable.

This look is made possible through a closed front door, which is open when delivered to the left, this can be switched by the user to the right if required. Although only an adapter factory setting of one of three 5.25-inch slots at Al-6 is, but those frames can be conveniently buy more if needed. The lid of the clear line is continued by the I/O panel which is inserted inconspicuously. Available in two different styles, the HD500 series HTPC cases not only look great but they also offer excellent cooling for a HTPC chassis. The minimalist styling, brushed aluminium finish and the rounded corners give these cases a distinctive look. The optical drive, I/O ports and a hot-swappable HDD are all hidden behind front aluminium flaps to maintain the elegant finish.
The HD500 series can accommodate Micro ATX as well as Standard ATX motherboards. This makes it possible to install high performance components without having to worry if a large CPU cooler or graphics card will fit. The cases are compatible with coolers no taller than 130mm. Finally, with the HD500 series you can install long PSUs due to the extra space.
One of the down sides to HTPC case is the fact they can become quite warm due to the size of the chassis'. Zalman have helped to solve this problem by incorporating many ventilation holes. At the rear and the left side of the case you will find that there are two 80mm fans and 120mm fan. These fans are designed to extract the hot air generated inside the chassis. The intake fan is also 120mm which blows the cooler air from outside the chassis over the HDDs
Both the HD501 and the 503 have the facility for one hot-swappable 3.5" hard drive to be installed. This hard drive is installed into a 5.25" drive bay rather than a 3.5". As you would expect the HDD is mounted on anti-vibrational rubber screws. The hot-swappable HDD is accessed by lowering the bottom flap.
For convenience Zalman have also made available at the front of the case several common ports. Two USB, one e-SATA, one headphone and one microphone port are all available. These ports are hidden behind the same flap that hides the hot-swappable HDD.

The 6th element is extremely user-friendly and it gives the user great expandability and versatility. The screw-less feature and pre-cut holes on the motherboard plate (for tidy cable routing) make this chassis easy to work with. The AI-6 gives an immediately clear first impression of quality and elegance. The Front cover shows a fairly large unit which houses a plastic exterior, with a brushed aluminum centre. In between lie a set of stealthy and concealed air vents, which should ensure good cooling.
This look is made possible through a closed front door, which is open when delivered to the left, this can be switched by the user to the right if required. If you open it, one sees a rectangular mesh field in the lower and upper area. The drive bays are provided by three 5.25-inch apertures. For each of them they can be cut away in order to push through an external 3.5-inch device.
Although only an adapter factory setting of one of three 5.25-inch slots at Al-6 is, but those frames can be conveniently buy more if needed. The lid of the clear line is continued by the I/O panel which is inserted inconspicuously. Two USB 3.0 ports that are present in addition to audio connectors and four USB 2.0 and are connected internally.
Under the removable cover part you will find a very good mesh surface, which ensures that a radiator with a size of up to 280 mm which can optimally cool with a good deliver fresh air. Available in two different styles, the HD500 series HTPC cases not only look great but they also offer excellent cooling for a HTPC chassis. The minimalist styling, brushed aluminium finish and the rounded corners give these cases a distinctive look. The optical drive, I/O ports and a hot-swappable HDD are all hidden behind front aluminium flaps to maintain the elegant finish.
The HD500 series can accommodate Micro ATX as well as Standard ATX motherboards. This makes it possible to install high performance components without having to worry if a large CPU cooler or graphics card will fit. The cases are compatible with coolers no taller than 130mm. Finally, with the HD500 series you can install long PSUs due to the extra space.
One of the down sides to HTPC case is the fact they can become quite warm due to the size of the chassis'. Zalman have helped to solve this problem by incorporating many ventilation holes. At the rear and the left side of the case you will find that there are two 80mm fans and 120mm fan. These fans are designed to extract the hot air generated inside the chassis. The intake fan is also 120mm which blows the cooler air from outside the chassis over the HDDs
Both the HD501 and the 503 have the facility for one hot-swappable 3.5" hard drive to be installed. This hard drive is installed into a 5.25" drive bay rather than a 3.5". As you would expect the HDD is mounted on anti-vibrational rubber screws. The hot-swappable HDD is accessed by lowering the bottom flap.
For convenience Zalman have also made available at the front of the case several common ports. Two USB, one e-SATA, one headphone and one microphone port are all available. These ports are hidden behind the same flap that hides the hot-swappable HDD.
