CIMA Certificate level 2014 vs 2015 syllabus charges

Hi all,

Are there any differences between the CIMA Certificate level 2014 and 2015 syllabus?

I am going to study this CIMA Certificate now and wondered in last years syllabus is the same so I maybe able to save myself a few quid on buying older books.

Yes, there was a massive change to the entire CIMA syllabus from 2014 to 2015. You'll need the 2015 books.

The syllabus change may only affect the Professional qualififcation. The Certificate level may be untouched. Does anyone know if this is the case?

The certificate level was always tested by CBA, I don't know if the content has changed.

As idea though you could contact CIMA and ask them directly....

I have tried phoning but am unable to get through. I have emailed them now too.

Just need to make sure the 2014 syllabus has the exact same content as the 2014 books - no more no less.

The Certificate level is the same, the books you get it for it are the old books with 'Extended to cover 2015' stuck on the front.
