Cinebench R23 issue (very small and unresponsive)

Does anyone else have the issue with Cinebench R23 where it seems to render the UI as though at a really high resolution and then all the buttons remain unresponsive to mouse clicks?

If so, how did you fix it?

I've redownloaded it multiple times and installed it from the Windows Store but get the same issue regardless.

This is likely due to task manager maybe setting cinebench priority to realtime. Try opening task manager, click on details tab and while cinebench is open but not running right click and hover over priority then select high.

No, didn't make any difference.
When I say unresponsive I mean you can't click any of the buttons, it doesn't respond to mouse clicks.
There is something quite clearly wrong as it looks like the UI is scaled for a 1080p display but is displaying on a 4K monitor (which it is). So the section with the buttons and the graphs on takes up about 1/16th of the screen. The splash screen that appears while it's loading that usually appears in the middle of the screen appears in the top left and is also really small.
I should take a picture, but I don't know where to host it.

Incidentally Cinebench R15 displays and works fine.

have you updated your bios to latest revision? also could you download cinebench from here https://www.techspot.com/downloads/6709-cinebench.html
Yeah, it's on the latest.
Downloaded from that link, no difference.
While I was there I downloaded R20 too and that runs fine.

EDIT:
Here's a pic

The screenshot to posted just looks as it would when you load cinebench before running it. Once cinebench loads are you able to click anything on the screen at all or does it freeze when you click start?

It doesn't freeze but you can't click it. I think "space" starts off a test run.

That's not what R15 or R20 looks like when I load them.

when i click start, i have to wait for 5 seconds then the test starts. space also bypasses pushing start but depends on whether single core or multi core is running

I have it running on other PCs and I can get R20 and R15 running so I know what I'm expecting, but it just doesn't work and I don't know why.
I can run it via command line, but it instantly closes so I don't see the result.

Are you extracting the file after downloading? If so make sure to delete everything to do with cinebench/maxon. Look in app data local, locallow, roaming, program files, program files x86 and documents. once done restart pc extract cinebench to desired location and try again. If this doesn't work you will have to stick with r20. Many other people have had similar issues and have not been able to find a solution.
