Quick one. I'm aware that not all filters are created equal, but equally I don't want to spend silly money. I need a 77mm one for my 24-105 f4. Any recommendations?

Thanks

Dave

Thanks, I use Hoya HD uv filters at the moment, but Polarizers cost much more. I will push the budget out as much as I can justify.

Thanks

Dave

I will be ordering a breakthrough filters one next month for the same lens, a mate uses their stuff and I was impressed with his results. It will be next month as I have their X100 system and 3 and 10 stop ND filters on order. The 25yr guarantee they offer was also impressive. It was about 115 quid, my only experience of filters previously was a cheapie off ebay and a hoya pro on my 58mm lens

In my experience, as with most camera equipment, the second hand market is always a good place to look. The Gobe filters and other budget models are fine however I picked up Tiffen and Hoya cpl's on eBay for around the same money.
