Hi all,
Just a question for any Cisco heads, I am in the middle of configuring a Cisco 3550 switch which has the standard FE ports, some GigabitEthernet ports and two fibre channels.
I want to select the fibre channel to configure, now I was under the impression to do this, do
conf t
interface fc 1/1
or
interface fc 2/2
However it keeps coming up with invalid input detected at marker
I have checked google to see if there is any other command thats used to jump on to this interface to configure, but the only other one I can see is
interface fcpa 1/1
however this again does not work, throws up the same error
Is there any reason I cant select the interface to configure? is this a firmware thing?
