cisco 871 router

Hi,

i have this router and wish to upgrade the IOS software from v12 to v15.


Update : sadly, the router i have has only 128ram the new ios v15 images require 192ram

Update for anyone that might find it useful. i managed to get latest firmware free from cisco by raising a request via tac support . just provide your serial numbeer to them and the advisory link for bug fix.

this is for people with no contract .

Of course they did. They don't care if you brick your out of contract router with a version of firmware it's not designed to run happily with. Chances are you'd buy another Cisco.
