Cisco 877w Router Configuration needed

Hi all

I've been messing around with a Cisco 877w router for a few days trying to learn how to use them.

Trouble is I didn't save the initial config the unit shipped with and I've got to the point where I'm a bit stuck

Does anyone have a basic or the shipping config the Cisco 877w comes with so I can start again. I've seen so many configs lately and all of them don't work in some way or another. It's starting to drive me mad!!

if you log in and erase the startup config from the command line it should bootup in default mode or if you are using SDM you can restore factory defaults from the Additional tasks bit

Actually I've overcome those problems and I'm now pretty much back to where I was when I started a few days back.

I can access the internet through wireless connections and can ping and resolve addresses. But on the wired ports I can only access ip addresses, it does no DNS resolving...

Why?!

Anyone got any clues. I'm starting to dislike this router.

Ah don't worry, I fixed my own problem again. You need to turn on DNS IP Spoofing. Who knows why this isn't switched on by default on a ... router

That's Cisco for you though!
