Cisco Aironet 1200 AP Web GUI slow performance

Hi guys, I recently updated the IOS on a Aironet 1200 series AP to the latest release (12.3(8)JED) via the CLI.

However, after the upgrade the web GUI is slow both over a wireless or wired connection. I have checked the duplex settings on the wired interface to ensure it is set to full duplex.

The AP is connected via Cat6 to a Gigabit switch, any idea's?

Yep, it's just slow.

I've found it to be very picky about what browser you access it from, generally I've always had best results using a PC running XP and IE6.

Anything newer and it seems to be very sluggish at loading certain parts of the page.

the 1130s' web interface is pants as well. CLI all the way for me.

I don't find the web gui too bad on the newer ones, VXWorks was horrible mind

But still I do most of the work using the CLI for stand alone AP's.

Thanks for the replies guys, yeah seems to be based on the new IOS after doing some searching about on the Cisco forums.

Back to the trusty old CLI ;-)
