Cisco Aironet 1200 Series Access Points

a couple of questions. I am using a belkin ADSL wireless router at the moment. would there be any benifit in using the cisco for the wi-fi ? i mean is it even possible to set the thing up without a degree in cisco networking?

1200's run the IOS. Not sure if Cisco make a GUI for configuring it separte. Never used one for cisco stuff.

Basically if you don't know what the IOS is don't bother.

GET ONE!! it is worth learning IOS just to get Belkin out of the loop. They rock, totally overkill for home use but great. If you don't want it give it to me

They have a gui front end, just point your browser to their IP address.

As Tui said, there is a very nice web-based front end for them to help you out. If it's free get it, if you don't like it after playing for a while then fleabay it.
