All,

I would like to learn the above subject, I'm no cisco engineer by any means.

Theres no-way I'm gonna get on a course, so can anyone advise on any books I could get? Beginners guides etc.

Cheers

Unless you have the Cisco Call Manager installed somewhere for you to "play" with, and a number of phones connected, learning how to use this kit is really hard. Especially if you want to run scripts for special ocassions or events. We use it at work, but I was always taught how to use it by my manager as opposed to reading books on it. I did have a look at the manual though and it seems like a really bulky instructions manual :S

yeah, you really need to use it as well as have the books. You can pickup the software from a certain auction site, then there's websites out there that tell you how to run it on VMware.

Books, you're really looking at the CCVP track, Cisco Press books are pretty good on this subject.
