Greetings, im looking at a better method for providing managed services for our customers.
Id like to take the traditional approach of deploying a local appliance at the customer premises which in turn reports back to a central collector as i wouldn't want a large amount of SNMP traffic crossing a WAN link to our offices.
Ive looked at products like Cisco Monitor Manager and Director as well as Cisco Works but im having difficulty on deciding on a compromise.
Monitor Manager would be a good place to start as it supports most of the routing, switch, voice and security products but doesn't support larger deployments consisting of 4500, 6500 switches as well as Call Manager and Unity.
If anyone already has this in place id be very much like to hear what you use and how you tackle managed services as a whole.
Regards
