Hi Guys

I've just invested in my first Cisco lab and it came with a 2509 Access Server. I want to configure this so I can use the 2509 as a gateway for my lab. However, being a noob, I'm a bit stuck!

From what I gather, it's all setup correctly, I have an Ethernet transceiver attached to the AUI interface which goes to my LAN and I have an Octopus Cable connected to the SCSI interface which connects to the routers and switches.

I've run through the initial configuration wizard and I did manage to get the AUI Ethernet interface working, however I can't fathom how I configure the asynchronous interfaces so that I can access the other routers and switches via this box?

Any help / advice / guidance greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Martin

Cool, tbh i don't think i've ever properly looked at the connector (even though there's a 2511 next to my desk here), just always grabbed an octo and stuck it in.
