Im wanting to do a security exam, my company uses a lot of cisco and check point kit. What would a good starting point be?
Cisco or check point exams?

Thats what i was thinking, doing the Cisco CCNA first.
Im doing a CCNA, its looks OK but i need to get my head around subnetting EG:
stuff like that, although thats an easy one. Is there an easy way to remeber stuff like that, like a table with them all on which would be easy to recreate at an exam. how do you guys do it? (dont say use a calculator)
And remembering subnetting with VLSM's.
