I’m not sure what cable type to get to connect my three cisco 2600 series routers for serial connections. I have two 1t wic cards and 1 2t wic card I have found two cables but I’m not sure what one I need

In addition to the above. Router 1 is a 60pin DSUB type and router 2 is smart serial type. You can get one piece DCE-DTE crossover cables with one of each type of connector. Just beware which end you want to be DCE when you buy. This will affect on which interfaces you configure clocking.

Personally I tend to use the smart serial ends for DCE (clocking) and the 60pin ends for DTE, and hence I make sure the cables I buy are wired this way round. It doesn't have to be that way round but in lab setups keeping it consistent helps a lot in eradicating silly little Layer1 slip-ups
