Hi, I have just read a thread about Cisco advice but without hijacking it I could do with some too.

I am very interested in networking, know the basics well and I am pretty certain my career will be based around this hopefully.

My local college does :-

Cisco - CCNA Semester 1 Level 3
CCNA Semester 2 Level 3
CCNA Semester 3 Level 3
CCNA Semester 4 Level 3
OCR CISCO L2 HP IT Essentials 1
OCR CISCO L3 HP IT Essentials 2


Network +

A+

Now, I have built many computers which still work haha. I also maintain a lot of my relatives computers and repair them when they screw up.

Have a big interest in the networking/internet side of IT for many years and have set up many home based networks for friends/ relatives & myself.

What do you think I should take?

Are all the Cisco's neccessary?

Is A+ as highly acknowledged as Cisco?
