I'm looking to buy this case which comes with 300w psu. I want to ask if anybody is using this case, and I want to know what power supply form factor it uses?

I can't seem to find the info I want from googal, so maybe someone from the forum knows.

Thanks

edit:

Just for other peoples' info, pictures of the case on this thread.

I couldn't find much info on it... But from what I did find the case is the same price as any decent PSU at that wattage anyway...

To be honest I'd probably recommend avoiding it, or at least don't use the supplied PSU....

Looking to get this case too, Did you end up getting it in the end pc_monkey?

If so do you know what form factor the PSU is?

Yes, it is very small but quite easy to fit everything, you need to remove the drive caddy and the crappy psu first.

Forgot to add, the finish is glossy black, unlike what we see in pictures all over the web which is matt finish... you would also like to order an 80x80x25mm fan to replace the crappy one it comes with.

I am running mine now with the psu it came with, so far it has not broken anything yet!

Awesome, Yeah i've heard, Still looks good from the pictures of yours =), Does it really need the 80mm? i've only got a small 120gb 2.5 drive, no DVD drive, 4gb of ram and an athlon x3,

Its a shame OCUK don't stock SFX/M-ATX PSU's as they'd probably get good sales from people who are making these ever popular small form factor pc's =).

Thanks monkey! =)

CiT, is like EzCool
Very unreliable.
I have one,
it's rubbish. But it's ok for low range, (like myne)
it has terrible quality connectors and cannot even output half the power it promises...

no probs, my hdd temp reaches 39*C, GT520 reaches 65*c and I have no BD drive yet. I can certainly feel very hot air coming out of the top vent so I thought a better fan will help expel out hot air.

edit:
I also ended up opening the psu and cutting the fan grill which has reduced a bit of noise.

Yeah i've heard and based on the reviews they sound crappy, But it comes with the case and the budget doesn't really have the capacity for another £40/50.

However, if this fits:
Silverstone Tech. Strider SST-ST40F-ES 400W Power Supply

Then I will buy it,

could you check this for me pc monkey? will it fit or is it too big?

Found the BE QUIET one for £30, bargain, When I can get round to getting the case, I'll check and see if the 250 is silent enough, if not £30 will be well spent =)

Thanks for your help pc monkey!

Anything else I should be wary of with that case? is the glossy black finish a dust/scratch magnet?

Ta!

A PSU is your best piece of kit for a system. If your PSU is rubbish it could lead you to having to RMA the majority of your parts inside your system.

Aka don't skimp when buying a PSU.
