cities in motion

It's not much lke railroad tycoon. I liked it, but I got bored by the 3rd level when the Berlin wall just made it a hassle to make bus routes.

You build bus stops and tram tracks. You can't really build new roads or change the layout of cities.

If you're into transport tycoon and the like you should enjoy it.

On the upside I enjoyed the objectives as it generally gave something to work to. The way the cities develop as time goes on is really quite neat too. Looks really good and fun to just watch people go about their business.

Downside is its quite tough to stay making cash sometimes, which can slow the rate at which you build. On top of that as people say its primarily about just building the routes - though weaving a metro/tram line through a city can be interesting :P

Id recommend unless you don't usually like transport sims given the price.

I have enjoyed it so far and for £15 its quite reasonable. I've done the first 4 scenarios but kind of couldn't be bothered to carry on as its much the same on each level. It looks good, plays well with a few minor bugs (these may have been fixed) but not ones that were game breakers.

There is something about the process of building the lines and the implementation of the game that annoys me something rotten, I can't quite put my finger on it.

As a fan of the Transport Tycoon/Railroad Tycoon/other similar themed games; Cities in Motion just isn't as enjoyable as it should be. At least not for me :p

hmm i was hoping you would be able to build roads etc your self not just put bus stops along them.

im in desperate need of a transport game for my macbook before i go away :(
