CITIZENFOUR is the never before seen, utterly riveting first-person look at how director Laura Poitras and journalist Glenn Greenwald first met with whistleblower Edward Snowden in Hong Kong where he gave them documents showing widespread abuses of power by the National Security Administration. It is an unprecedented fly-on-the-wall account of one of the most groundbreaking moments in recent history.

Anyone else interested in this? Should be a fantastic inside look at the Snowden leaks. Can't wait to see it!

Bit late, but yea I saw it. Had a very tense feel specially when you think of the chaos that was happening during the filming. Surprisingly shocked to hear that GCHQ's Tempora is what NSA could only dream their PRISM would become lol must be pretty damn bad here then.
But yea, excellent if you haven't seen it, even though it's old news

I set to record this when it was on as I wanted to see it once I heard about. Damn thing didn't record and I've got no means to access 4od on either my TV (Panasonic) or my Fire TV. Pah, will have to wait for it to come to Prime or Lovefilm. :(

I've seen some people claiming it's out of copyright as it was used as evidence in court. Not sure if that's true, but as stated it's definitely worth seeing if you can.

While the subject matter was interesting it's very much how well the docu was made that makes it stand out.

Poitras' style is very minimalistic and hands-off, she typically doesn't interview and just films what is happening. Makes you feel like you are right there.
