Citrix License Question

We have always used Citrix to publish a desktop to our end users.

We are now however looking at publishing individual apps, but I was wondering how this works with licenses.

If one user is running 3 seperate published apps, then how many licenses does that person use?

Citrix works on concurrent licenses, so if you had 100 users and you ever only had 50 people using Citrix at once, you only need 50 licences, even if those users had many apps/desktops open. It is like a pool of licenses, when a user connects, they take a licenses out of the pool, then return it when they close their session.

Plus with Citrix you can have as many servers in your farm for no extra Citrix cost, although you would need to buy Windows Server licence, makes it cheap to increase the farm
