Just started playing civ 4 complete and finding it pretty hard on noble difficulty... my only expierence with civ games was owning civ 2 on my psx, basically does anyone have any hints and tips? i always end up going to war with a nation and them coming into my territory with much more advanced units = whipping me completely

Main difference between civ 4 and older versions is you cant expand too fast. Each extra city costs extra money to maintain, and increases the costs of existing cities, so if you expand too quick, you run out of cash and have to slow down science and thats when you can get beaten
