Im in the market for a Civ game. Ive tried the demos of both civ IV and V and though both ran fine on my system i'm inclinded to give civ V a miss until the bugs are fixed and the modding comunity has had a chance to do good things. Ive been burned by Empire total war and F1 2010 and think i'll wait for a game to be finished before buying it.
On to Civ IV then. The original is on steam for £12.99 with the complete pack for £26.99. With all the mods available, added to the fact that i havent played any civ game for over 10 years, is it worth paying the extra for the expansion packs now, at all, or maybe wait til they are available for less in steam sales?
