Civ5 on 64bit system

Im trying to run Civ 5 (32bit game) on my windows 7 64bit laptop.

I only have home premium 64 bit so I cant use 32bit virtual machine. How do I get CIV5 running?

I cant belive it wont install as loads of games are 32bit but install on 64 bit system. When I click install it says "You need a compatible x32 or 64 bit version"

Have you tried installing it through steam?

Installed fine for me on x64. Put the serial into Steam and see what happens.
