Civic EP3 Type R fuel usage

I went Wembley at the weekend watch Stoke and Bolton, travelling from Stoke.

Maxed out the tank.

On the way down there I was doing about 70 all the way. The way back probably 90ish.

I did 330 miles total, there and back when the fuel light came on as I got back into Stoke. I would have had another 20miles out of it I'm sure.

Any other comparisons from fellow Civic owners?

Thats good, I never managed over 300 miles out of a tank from my old EP3.

My fuel is shocking as its mainly up and down hills if I brim it never get more than 250 to a tank tops.

300 miles best here on one tank, and average is 24.8 MPG, so probably fairly in line with others here that don't drive like geriatrics.

Daily I got 200 to 240 miles per tank, on a run the same as you about 330 on a trip to Swansea and back. We were not hanging about on that trip either!

I think it was more the cost in tyres than fuel that hurt me

I get 330 miles on a tank on long trips. Although just done 130miles on about 1/3rd of a tank to Wales.
