Not got one myself but a friend does and it drives very nicely.
K&N aluminium induction, K&N strut brace and full magnex exhaust.

Sounds luurvley:

Another 55 reg premier owner here, welcome to the family :D

I keep meaning to pick up some of those JDM mats, but the stealers told me they're not available anymore... anyone know a good site to pick some up?

Yep i found out a place that sells them, £120 though
http://www.unit-8.co.uk/acatalog/EP3_Trim.html

Ive been told that those are the real deal.

I also found out the part number for honda to supply them but its a nightmare trying to get them to order them in, dunno how.

I should be joining the 197bhp breadvan club in June, if not sooner. I need to wait out for my insuance renewal as I'll be 22 with 1 year no claims (touches wood, crosses fingers etc. etc.)

Does anyone know that to look out for when buying? Also, what are the main differences between the facelift and noin facelift mechanically or performance wise? I may have to settle for a pre-facelift as the prices for CTRs still seem a little high at the moment, even though the new one is out.

What is this "Premier" you speak of too?

Facelift models have black and red interior, red inserts on door panels, red and black seats, more sound dampening etc, i heard there's over 1000 small changes that you wont probably notice
The Premier version is late 05/55 plates which come with rear tints, racaro seats, red carpet and momo steering wheel, pretty much the same spec as the 30th Anniversary CTR.

Sp00n, that silver CTR looks very clean!

Going to order the mats this week from unit 8, i hope theyre the real deal now :)

Why? They're £20 cheaper from Honda. Any decent Honda garage will get them in within 3 days if you quote that part no.

Honda said £120
Unit 8 are next day delivery :o

Thing is, i went in to the local Honda garage and i told them the part number, they said they couldn't find the item, even though i quoted them the correct number.
They told me another part number and said that there £120

i want an ep3 but no doubt ill end up with an MB6 instead, :(

I've had both, got bored of my EP3 a lot quicker than the MB6. Please note, I am not saying the MB6 is the better car!

but, VTEC > iVTEC :D

is it the rawer crossover point that you prefer vtec to i-vtec ?

Yes. iVTEC is the better system, newer technology etc. but there's nothing better than the old school VTEC change-over, especially with a Mugen airbox.
VTEC is a more involving drive too.

I must say after driving several EP3 Type R's, I've always prefered my MB6 tbh... with the exception of the JDM Type R or the Integra of course...

*is going to miss his MB6 when it goes in June... although the replacement is more than worthy*

That EK9 is an absolute gem, should get soem rota's for it :D

Not entirely concinved on the interior, its a bit garish even if it is stock, lol.

that looks lush tim

i absolutely love JDM honda vtecs in white

id love to have a DC5 in white, or one of the new civic Type Rs
