Civilization VI - to play or not to play?

So I've received a key for Civ 6 plus the Australia and Viking DLCs through my monthly Humble Bundle subscription. The problem is I can't decide if I want to play the game or sell/donate the keys. I've only been PC gaming for 5 years so never really bothered with strategy and turn based combat games. The few attempts I had made up until recently left me feeling overwhelmed and I abandoned these games due to it feeling too much like work to get in to them.

However, I'm playing Pillars of Eternity just now and after ploughing 77 hours in to it, I'm getting to grips with turn based and party management combat and really enjoying the game. So my question is - do you think I'm likely to enjoy Civ 6 now that I've wetted my appetite for strategy a bit with Pillars of Eternity? Particular consideration needs to go to the the huge investment in hours I know this game would command if I do decide to keep it.

Also, are there lots of cinematics in Civ 6? I like cinematics and feel these would be a real incentive for me to play through the game knowing there was more story and 'film' to unlock.

Also what does the tag '4X' mean?

I have a Call to Arms Deluxe Edition and Killing Floor Steam Key I could trade you for it if you aren't willing to play it?
Thanks for the offer but I have Killing Floor already and I don't really fancy Call to Arms. As I said, up until now I haven't been in to strategy games but don't like to completely rule things out. I guess I was kind of sold by the trailer for Civ 6 but if there isn't a campaign as such I don't think I will invest the time required for the game. Especially as I went a bit mental last year and bought almost 400 games - damn sales and bundles - I just can't say no to that kind of value! Anyway I have a few games to get through so perhaps it's best I avoid a game capable of devouring the kind of aforementioned hours! Think I'll put a post in the members market. Thanks all for replying...
