CJS CD KEYS

LOL at the idiots voting for this who have no idea what the hell this guy does.

They just looked at his figures and went "Mmm kay".

Also, he talks about "credibility".

He is involved in the "grey market", it will allways be questionable.

I am sure E.A/Activision etc will say he is not credible (Maybe to line their own pockets) BUT they do have a point.

Surely going to tell you truth in a promotional video right?

Selling stolen Guild Wars 2 keys which were also US based when added to the account and then telling people in emails they're just trying to steal a free game from them is nothing more than appalling. It wasn't til Arenanet stepped in with clear announcements on it people were getting refunds, some with paypal disputes.

For me, all it took was one look at the site to say it was dodgy.

I do not believe this guy has "knowingly" obtained stolen keys, he knows as well as us that stolen keys do get tracked down, as do ones purchased via credit card fraud. Also, it would be safe to assume he pays for his "stock" upfront so he would likely be the one taking a hit on "stolen/fraudulant" keys.

HOWEVER, as I said before, the grey market is far from "clean" so some shannanigans are to be expected.

The majority of key sellers are "clean" as in they do not steal in stolen products/fraud. They simply exploit pricing variations in different markets which also helps to avoid any local sales tax which makes the item cheaper and still allow everyone to take their cut.

I buy all of my keys from this website. I'm just not an idiot like most people, and don't buy from them during periods of high demand -- e.g. Diablo III or any other popular game around the immediate time of release.

Ye , i have bought 5 games from here , never had a problem . I will say though that i have noticed many complaints on this forum but on the flipside i bet there are thousands of people who think Amazon are a rubbish company , more people speak out with a problem than those who speak out when all goes smooth.

Were all idiots are we?

A large amount of us bought GuildWars2 Keys from them, to have them banned by aNet as they were obtained using CC Fraud.

CJ's delined this, said keys would be working come release and also in my email to them called ME a liar and said I was trying to steal games from them (CJs)

Great way to run a business ;) as far as I remember theres even "a close friend" of the guy that runs CJs on the forum

Personally, when I order stuff online and look at reviews, it's common to say the odd bit of late delivery, or sometimes bad customer service. But selling keys that were obtained through CC fraud is simply unacceptable for any store in my opinion, add to that the bad customer service of outright saying that the customer is not telling the truth just to try and get a free key and a refund is just not on.

Sure, the person may not have known that the place he got the keys from were from CC fraud, but if he wants to run a legit company he has to verify the source of his products. No physical retail store would get away with selling stolen goods and just saying 'I didn't know the supplier was a thief'. Even if the keys were legit, they were all US CD keys, but not advertised as such, so wouldn't be that great for most EU customers.

Is the store legit? it's probably trying to be, but the store is either incompetent and clueless when it comes to obtaining cd keys from suppliers, or it is knowingly selling stolen goods. Neither of which sound like a company I want to do business with, and I would steer people clear of them.

I think selling CD keys like this should be a valid method of purchasing games, and more companies should offer this, I just don't think this is the right company for that.

They sell keys they get via credit card fraud. Not much else to say really. Maybe a congratz if you bought a key and the developer didn't know to ban it?

I think they have been unfairly slated.

You are going to get bad feedback from any outlet/retailer in existance. Even the 'mighty' Steam.

I have bought from CJS before and received great service. Quick ordering and quick delivery. Months on and the keys I got from them are still working 100%. None of this "Valve have removed my 'grey market' key from my game list" rubbish.

Ive used them, and Id use them again.

Would you mind telling me which other outlets/retailers have sold stolen goods, even if they didn't know it was stolen?

Yes there is bad feedback for all stores, but there are levels to what is acceptable.
