CL Final *Spoilers*

i played this match on fifa last night :o

Milan will score early from a set piece, then Liverpool will throw the kitchen sink at them and do everything but score for the remainder of the first half. Milan come into it again at the start of the second half and play some nice stuff without really threatening, Carragher and Hyppia have stormers. Then Liverpool realise they need to get their arses into gear and start throwing men forward willy nilly in search on an equaliser but Milan defend well. Then on the break near the end Milan hit them on the counter attack with a goal to take the cup.

Thats my prediction, you heard it hear first.

Then you woke up, or at least I hope you did :D Win loose or draw just being there in the final and having a 50:50 chance of lifting the most important prize in european footy is a massive achievement in itself none more so that for Rafa himself, to get this bunch of players in an injury hit season this far against some great teams is a huge achievement.

Not only do the players have the insentive to win this cup, they have an added insentive of maybe securing their place in the competition next season, for them that has also got to be a great insentive. If Carra & Hyypia are upto the task at the back and Gerrard & Alonso are on song then we will win, but if any one of those four players have a bad game or quiet game then we will loose its as simple as that. Each team has key men that need to perform to give their side a chance, likewise for Milan, they need big performance from their key men. I expect a few goals, can't see this one being a boring dull 0 - 0 affair like the FA Cup :D

Afaik they are only running with that cos Rafa had Kewell and Cisse upfront in one of their training sessions out there,no more than that.I can't honestly see him starting out any other than 4-5-1,and change from there as the game dictates. No way can i see that he will start without Didi either,so he probably will start without him,my predictions being what they are :D

I must not start drinking til 7pm

^^ Radio 5 Live I guess.

Cisse will start due to his pace against the ageing but fantastic defence but I might tend to have him come on later when their defence is getting tired.

Kewell is a surprise and mother of all games, I think this is the game that he may actually realise what this game means to everyone and him giving it his very best and I wouldn't be surprised if you see him playing a motm role.

His runs down the wing, his twisting and turning and takeons could prove benificial to the team however Cafu the bugger could easily mark him out of the game. But Cafu likes to make his own runs and you could see him being caught up the pitch with Kewell counter attacking and the other end.

Where's everybody watching the game tonight? I'll be in a sports bar in town that should be pretty busy, I watched Celtic in the UEFA final there 2 years ago, it won’t be as big as that night but it'll be jumping anyway.

I remember watching Man Utd win it, the town was packed with people celebrating; hopefully it'll be the same tonight.

Kewell certainly owes Liverpool fans big time. I've yet to see him have a good game in a red shirt.

I'll be at home cause I just stuck a metal spike through the side of my foot so its blown up like a balloon, needs stitches and I think a bone is broke. The hospital can do till tomorrow if I go cause I haven't time to wait at a hospital and end up missing the match.:)

Beer, lots of beer should kill the pain.

That's the spirit :D

I see the press are trying to upset Cisse hours before the match by spreading gossip that he's leaving in the summer despite Cisse quickly responding by telling them he wouldn't be going anywhere cause he's owe's Liverpool a lot for getting him through his leg break.

Watching it at a mates house....He's just split up with his fiance and is rather gutted.....So me and a mate are heading round to try cheer him up :o

I think Liverpool could do it....Guys in work said i was made for predicting 2-1 :D

Good Luck Liverpool :)
