Clamed my bell-end with a pair of dumbells

Might have knocked my head once or twice on the smith machine, but nothing serious. Although remember some time ago when some chav girl (who clearly wasn't really interested in anything, not sure why she was there) falling off a treadmill and then her head falling onto the moving part and it making a distinctive "ziiing" noise. Didn't look painful, but she sure as hell was embarassed as she pretty much ran out the place.

WTF Seriously, this is the third time i've searched for a word i dont understand which was posted on OCUK, and i got pics of penises

n00b tbh :p

I've split fingers open, scraped my shins (doing DLs), bruised various body parts - but never ever have I ever crushed my "bits".

I don't want to make this any more graphic but I always thought shrugs were best done with arms by sides, it feels more natural to me and perhaps more importantly doesn't give the option of any nasty incidents occuring to your valuables.

I can't think of anything serious that has happened to me thankfully, occasionally trapped bits of the skin on my hands when lowering weights but that is pretty mild. Maybe I'm not trying hard enough.

Once was going for an all time high with a big weight jump on powercleans, wasnt expecting to get it past a deadlift so was really psyching my self up for it, springing my quads and waiting for the heavy beat to drop on my ipod.

Needless to say I was so psyched the bar flew up a lot faster then i expected and simply knocked me to the floor. The whole gym turned to look at the sound of 290lbs slamming the ground. Have no idea how I didn't get injured, especially since i landed with my feet in a groin stretch position.

I've also seen a guy doing squats far to heavy for him and made the rookie mistake of putting his hands on the power rack instead of keeping them on the bar, the bar dropped and crushed his fingers......ouch

worst i've done while weight training is caught a bit of skin on my hand and had it pull away slightly. to be honest i've always been very fortunate with injuries in both the gym, and while kickboxing/boxing/other sports. i quite regularly pick up little minor strains in kickboxing but never really anything that is any more than tender for a few days. i dread a big injury that could actually keep me off training for weeks/months.

Isnt it true that exercising of any kind but especially bodybuilding hightens your pain threshhold? I think ive read that somewhere but it might have been one of those BS facts that float about on the net.
