clamping opty retail heatsink down problem

Been trying to lock down my retail heatsink that came with my opty 146 i can get the thing clamped down but cant get the lever to turn the 90* to lock down.
I have tried i on and of again a few times and its always the same i force the hooks on the heatsink to clamp on the m\b bracket but cant get the lock to rotate and clamp down
btw its on a abit an8 ultra

tbh i had the same problem with a fx54 and a asus a8n deluxe, i just left it and its been fine until i had to take it apart recently.

Got it in the end had to force the clamp over
now to find out how to o\c an opty

you really need to push hard to get it to clamp properly. Be careful when removing it because the cpu will have stuck to it and you dont want to rip it out of the socket.

call THAT hard? HA! Socket A, now that's a lot of force needed
