Clan Website? .Co.Uk, .Com, or .Net?

Hey,

Im making a new clan and about to buy a new domain, I can see that there are:
.Co.Uk
.Com
.Net
I dont know which one to get for my clan website

Which one you think is betteR? I am thinking of the .net one.

As far as I know the .co.uk domain is cheaper (per year) so thats what i would go for

Know any good hosting sites that will let me buy domain / hosting.

Also if I cancel hosting I am able to keep the domain?

I currnetly have another site with VidaHost
I got a .co.uk domain (registered for 2 years) for £7.99 and a hosting package with it for an £2.99 a month.
If I cancel my hosting with them do I automatically lose my domain? Or can I access that from another site?

These clans only last about a week anyway so investing in a domain seems a bit pointless

I'd go for which ever you prefer, bearing in mind you might be able to get an url that you prefer if you use .co.uk instead of .net (or vica versa) That being someone might have used the domain name you want on .net but not on .co.uk

Most probably if you canceled your hosting then you would keep the domain and you would just have to re-direct it to the name servers of your new hosting package

Nope, you get to keep it. Just ask for the nameservers to be changed

How about you buy another domain name from wherever you choose and then use the add-on domain feature :cool:

I think its "I would like to register this domain"

then you may have to do hosting after not sure :confused:
