Clan website

I need to build a clan website (mainly xbox), what content management system would you recommend for this purpose?

I have Fantastico set up on my host and these are the options for CMS:

Drupal
Geeklog
Joomla
Mambo Open Source
PHP-Nuke
phpWCMS
phpWebSite
Post-Nuke
Siteframe
TYPO3
Xoops

Advice welcome.

i used e107 and phpbb and plenty of mods to make my teams clan site

all the cms' compared.

i read some of the reviews, joomla is the most user friendly, however xoops addons is customizable, e107 can be heavily customised ideal for developers.

the operation on each cms is very different. i suggest you browse joomla's themes (i dont have link)

and also look at xoops themes

xoops was my first cms, its the only one i used and made my custom theme too.

Don't touch PHP-Nuke, its one of the most hacked CMS's.

There is an alternative called DragonflyCMS which is far more secure, and it has a lot of creative and great modules.

Ignore the horrible theme they use on the main site, there is some nicer looking themes and its dead easy to make your own.
