Just watching the DVD got for Christmas, just finished the Mustang segment and the Lotus Exige S race with the Roush Mustang, great DVD so far anyone else seen it?.

thought it was quite good when I saw it, but the only thing really remember is the sound of the supercharger on the mustang - and me thinking that I want a car that sounds like that.

Yea sounds superb, looks like britain has owned america on most of the road test's can't help thinking clarksons a little biased on some of them. :p

The GTX1 is pretty special at the end :D

Funny how a middle of the range Z4 beat the Dodge Viper, that GTX1 is somthing else 700BHP incredible, looks like it was a bit to much for Clarkson to handle, Brilliant DVD Clarkson at his best i highly recommened it. :D

Typical Clarkson DVD. Watch it once, enjoy it and then wonder why someone paid £12.99 for it when you'll be able to buy it in 6 months time from a petrol station for £1.49 (or free with £40 of petrol).

Yeah tbh I don't think they are worth the money considering you see much the same thing on Top Gear for free.

I do like his books though :)

You could argue that the books aren't worth the money considering you see much the same thing in the Times for free ;)

HI there

Not at all, I don't rate the Dodge Viper at all. It truly is a straight line only car and even then its pretty useless, very twitchy and unstable.

It comes across to me as Dodge had one goal and that was 500BHP+. They got but never actually did anything with the suspension and chassis. It is in my view one of the worse handling cars ever.

I didn't enjoy the DVD at all tbh, it was all very fake looking and most of the races had continuity errors, i'm guessing all were just clips of the cars edited together designed to show clarksons preference off the best. (Not that top gear do that of course *cough*)

Some nice cars, but poor show!

You doubtless could mate, but I don't read The Times so I stick with the books. Easier to store on the book shelf too! :)
