No point in doing a vote. Most will choose XP/Aero.

I love the classic theme. I especially like the Vista implementation of it. I know the Aero theme is completely rendered via the graphics card. Every icon, every check box. Doubtful this is the case in the classic theme. Or am I mistaken?

I just find it easier to navigate in classic theme. There are less distractions, and its certainly easier on the eyes. I cant wait until Vista is released, im enjoying RC1.

Probably will get shot down in flames saying I prefer the Classic Theme with Vista everyone seems to be hyping up the Aero interface. Its ok, but I still prefer the classic. Anyone else?

aero if i can spell it is amazing, ive got the vista beta and its seriously quality stuff, espesh with the translucent media player! i love it!

I'm with dark_matter on this one classic theme it just works. All others feel cluttered.

I did like the Aero theme for a while, but because it was new. Went back to classic after a while, I always go back to a simple theme in XP, such as a modified windows classic or Hmmm XP.

clasic theme only for me, used to like the other themes but as the above post, less clutted (feels like)

Surely everything on the screen, no matter what it is, is rendered by the GPU?

Ah yes, I know what you mean. But I think in Aero the GPU does the work when resizing windows, etc, whilst in classic the CPU does this before passing to the GPU to render.

Im heartend to hear other people like classic. I thought I was as boring as an accountant (no offense to accountants, im sure your great drinking partners... someone has to moderate my unit consumption!)

I found Vista's eye candy a bit OTT. I doesn't offer me anything but fancy animations. I think I'll stick with XP for the next year or so.
