Love the first one Rojin. Looks absolutely tack sharp on my cack work display.!

That was just parked in the car park! I have thought of joining the club there so you can park on the grounds (rather than an adjacent field) but I'm not sure my old battered 156 will fit in! :D

Very impressive again mate. Getting shots like that at 1/40th while panning is some achievement.

If I ever shoot at anything slower than 1/60th it looks like I've got parkinsons :D

Over the weekend there was a classic car event which ended with a 'drive the hill' at Prescott Speed Hill Climb. Lots of nice cars on show, albeit a much more sedate pace than any race meetings :)

Some fantastic shots.
Are these all taken from public areas or do you have antrackside pass?
I keeping meaning to go!

Those photos are all possible without needing a pass you can get great tight shots with a 35mm lens in some places, not often you need more than 200mm to achieve anything unless you really want that compression a really long lens gives you. :D

Do it! I kicked myself for not going sooner, it's the La Vie en Blue at the end of the month. There should be 3 Veyrons there... :D

I only go as a spectator, I take my daughter along and she loves it. I asked her which was her favourite car, "The stripy one" she said :) (the gt40)

Oh I get those as well :) 1/15 was a step too far with the odd angles you get at a hill climb:

I like this one as well, it has an artistic painterly feel to it (It's worth printing imo).
Also like this car, dreamed of owning a lotus 7 one day, but will probably end up with a westfield or similar, just wish I was mechanically minded enough to build one of these, perhaps I should direct some of my geekish attention to insignificant detail, and learn more about it...

I really like this one, is it a porsche spyder?

I believe it's a Porsche 356, it was lovely. A little bit scruffy arou d the edges but that just added to its charm :)

:D You'd love it I'm sure. Having all the kit is half the battle, knowing how to use it is other half!

The French themed La Vie en Blue is the weekend of the 25-26th May, also at Prescott. This is a fun event with gendarmes and French maids mingling with the crowd :) Weather permitting the Breitling wing walkers will also be there on the Sunday.

Was that a public event? It's not listed on their web site that I can see. Looks like a cracking set of cars there though and great pictures all round. I'll be at La Vie en Blue if the weather is nice.
