Clawhammer is the name of the core inside your CPU

The Athlon 64 comes with a variety of different cores, offering different amounts of cache, different features, etc

The Clawhammer core has 1MB of L2 cache (the Clawhammer 3500+ is an anomaly having 512KB of L2 cache but this is because half the cache is disabled)

Your CPU runs at 1.8GHz with 1MB of L2 cache like your printout shows. If you had a Newcastle 3000+, it would run at 2GHz but with 512KB of L2 cache (the higher clock speed making up for the smaller cache)

I have a 64 3000+ clawhammer 1mg of L2 in my desktop pc it's happy running at 2gig I think I could get more if I got some top class mem, just using pny3200 512*2 at the moe and it's not the best for overclocking it was all I could buy at the time.
with the small amount of money I had left.

Cheers
