Hi All,

Being very lazy and not particularly wanting to get hands wet/dirty, I was wondering if theres something out there that I could spray on to the car and then jet wash off and leave the car reasonably clean. Would something like Muc-Off do the trick or would it be neccesary to get snowfoam or something?

Other options are the automatic car washes that seem to miss everything or 'hand car wash' places, which are a bit of a detour for me.

Theres no such thing as a touchless wash.

You could just pressure wash it to get the worst off. But it won't be as clean as if you got out a bucket of soapy water and a mitt.

You could always use a long handled soft brush if you don't fancy getting your hands wet. All depends on how much you like your car and if you don't mind getting swirls on it

Car wash at your local petrol station, Hands free and will clean the car with minimum effort... Plus it will add a few new marks and dents while its at it!

Use a foreign person those no water systems don't work
Foreign person might end up being the only option. I don't mind using water- I will happily supply as many gallons as needed but just don't want to get cold wet hands.

When I had my old car valeted it seemed to stay clean longer and when the immigrants washed it, it would still bead nicely. I wonder if having that done and then the gentler snow foam might do the job? I'm not after a detailed car, just something that's not 'ruin your clothes' dirty every time you walk by it.

I used to use those yellow washing up gloves back when I use to do the two bucket method. Get in touch with your feminine side!

Plenty of garages around these parts offering car hand washes with snow foam etc as a loss leader. Perfect right now as the awful weather means the car cleaning gets neglected.

Snow foam is just for pre rinsing or for when the car isn't that dirty.

Tomorrows clean will involve:

snow foam
autowash
iron x
tardis
clay bar +qd
Mop + 2 types of pad
3M ultrafina
IPA
Swissvax Shield

And several cups of tea :D

Just get some elbow length heavy rubber gloves, easy.

 That sounds a bit James Herriot for me thanks.
