Word of warning with a hoover, hold any fans with your finger to stop them spinning as you go over them - do not let the hoover spin them.

Especially do not let the hoover spin them on purpose getting them to go as fast as you can.

It can make them spin much faster than they are rated for, thus breaking them.

I find a mains inflater works well enough. One of those that blows up inflatable pools and camping beds up.
