clean install or repair

Personaly I would do a clean install, but you get away with a repair.
What are you changing to and from.

Also what Windows version, OEM or Retail.
 
Clean without a doubt.

I've always found repaired installations slower and tend to have problems down the line.
 
If the chipset is the same, you may not need to do either. Clean installs are always nice but guess it depends how much you have to backup/reinstall.
