clean installing a windows 7 unlimate

hello,

looking for some info on doing a clean install is it as simple as just format your driver and start from fresh? at the moment when i try and do it from the windows disk it tells me it can not find my hd cant understand why it cant find it mind you.

Can the drive be seen in the BIOS when it starts up?

Check you have all your connects tight and secure including power and data leads. Try a different SATA cable and/or port if need be.
