Wonder if nintendo are kicking themselves about bundling wii sports with the console over here, they'd have made a packet it if they'd have sold it separately! They probably should have stuck a demo version in with the console.

Can't wait for Gyakuten Saiban 4 (otherwise known as the new Phoenix Wright game) but we've got to get Phoenix Wright 3 before we'll get that

I think the DS does so exceedingly in well in Nippon because they all have really long commutes to/from work! It's the perfect way to pass the time on a train or bus.

weird tho as i didnt see that many people playing on DS's while i was out there about 3 weeks ago.A few on the trains but mostly just messing around on phones and such. Maybe i was just on the wrong trains

i think Gyakuten Saiban 4 isnt pheonix wright but a new attoney as in Japan its called Ace Attorney : blah blah. Im not totally sure I think I read that somewhere.

No you're right the main guy in it isn't Phoenix so that's going to be an interesting problem when they release it over here as the series is known as Phoenix Wright in the West!

But it's the 4th in the series of those games so that's why I said it's the new Phoenix Wright game so people knew wtf I was on about

Wow you must be hard to please. There are tons of great games. Mario kart is well down my list of favourites.

As for the original post. It is not unusual for Japan in recent months. I think I have seen an all Nintendo top ten at least 5/6 times since January.

I didn't think they were converting PW3? That's what I'd heard anyway, that they were leaving that as a GBA game, to concentrate on 4.

I'm the same and with the Wii. I just dont think i'm an nintendo kinda person.

I adore my DS as a handheld console, it looks, feels and handles prefectly. Gamewise I struggle to find anything to interest me. Dont see the fuss with mario kart. Love SMB in spells, only today finished level 8. Quite like bomberman and have a few quiz board game type games.

Purely from my own personal perspective they have built some awesome consoles in the last couple of years that gamewise hold no more than a passing interest for ME.

Coming out in the US in September. I don't know if the plots from 3 affect 4 but I'd imagine the 2 have some in jokes like the ones between 1 and 2.

Wooooo. Good stuff.

The fourth should be great though. I thought the extra chapter in the first PW was the best of the lot, and it really used the DS well. A whole game like that should be mint.
