Hi.

I was going to install a fresh windows so I downloaded latest ISO and copied it to USB with Rufus.

I formatted my drive but when it goes to install windows files I get:

I can only assume this is either faulty USB or corrupt files unless anyone know what else.

Is there anyway I can reinstall windows using command prompt etc as I wont have access to another computer until tomorrow?

Thanks

Might be worth working through these steps.

https://appuals.com/windows-cannot-install-required-files-0x8007025d/

But more than likely corrupt on the USB drive, might be worth using the windows media creation tool when you get access to another machine at some point.
Tried unplugging all other drives.
Tried formatting ssd before installation.
Tried going down to 1 stick of RAM.

All still giving same issue.

Guess I will need to see if a neighbor can burn me a Win ISO USB to test.

I just thought there might be some way of creating a new windows usb via cmd in Repair.

Can't you get the neighbour to just re do the usb installer using the windows media creation tool? Or a linux live USB just to get you in a useable environment temporarily?

I managed to get someone to give one lol..

Just so I know. Is it even possible to run via CMD and internet.

Lesson learned.. ordered a couple new USBs and only putting windows iso on and left in drawer lol.
