Gave the car a clean yesterday, was too dark to take pictures yesterday so here it is after 60 miles with muddy sills due to lack of mud flaps. :D


First time of washing a car "properly" with mash mitt + meguiars shampoo/wax and microfibre clothes etc.


Shame black cars are so hard to keep clean and it'll be a total mess in no time. Ah well. :(

I know, I just can't keep the camera still, it is a phone camera though (D900).


The only problem with getting up close and personal with the car is that you find all the small defects. I've noticed a little dent in the door which is obviously where somewhere has opened theirs into mine. Plus loads of tiny stone chips on the bonnet. :(

**** happens. Tried explaining to the mrs every time she finds another minute scratch. If she had the scratches i have on my focus roof she would be inconsolable!!

Car looks good btw - get yourself a decent digi camera... loads of bargains if you dont already have one.
 
I took mine to the hand car wash yesterday £7 - 15mins by a team of eastern europeans ...... got it looking twice as good as i ever could in a whole afternoon of being bothered (after an hour i normally get bored) :D
