My G15 has seen better days so I was going to give it a good clean.

What's the best process to clean a keyboard?

Taking each key off and giving them a good clean?

I don't want to break any of the keys as im a little heavy handed :)

Any tips would be welcome :)

'Blow your keys away'!?!? Are you sure that was compressed air and not a claymore :p
LMAO (sorry for the abbreviations, I have tried so hard not to use them because there is a lack of them in OCuk forums, it's like they are outlawed O_O)
Stick it in the dishwasher. Just make sure it dries out properly afterwards.

Source: CustomPC a few months back.

Oo. I'll give that one a miss.

Pop all the keys off with a butter knife, soak them in some soapy water for an hour or so then babywipes to clean the main body of the keyboard. Dry it all of then stick back together.

LOL the keyboard was 1.99 from tesco.... it sounded like i was beating on a tin can whilst i was typing... i just needed something before my ebay one arrived... which took a month because it was "lost in postage".

OH, alternativly you COULD buy one of those flexible ones made of rubber i think. pretty sure u can submerge them in water (obv not the end of the usb)

NO idea how good or bad they are.. but would be funny typing underwater ^^,

Drying can take quite a long time because of structure of keyboard.
But just where do you keep your hands when not on keyboard if cleaning it takes more than vacuuming dust?

Why buy compressed air to clean it? At that price you should have just got a new keyboard :P

Dishwasher and then put it in the airing cupboard for a week.

Or do what I did and wash it in the washing up bowl and get impatient after 2 days and go to use it, que lots of random characters appearing as I type followed by it giving up all together.
