Cleaning a laptop

I been at uni 4 weeks now and my laptop is looking a bit dity whats the best to clean a laptop without breaking the bank on cleaning products?

Damp cloth - make sure it or your hands aren't dripping.

Yes.
Ensure it's a soft cloth or you could scratch the display.

i just use standard glass cleaner and a soft cloth for the casing and screen, just a light spray then buff with a fresh cloth.

baby wipes do wonders cleaning laptops and a glasses cloth after for getting rid of the streaks it makes on the screen.

I'd be careful there is no silicon in them, or your screen will end up like one of my old ones; The wipe had literally stripped the finish off the monitor, and left a horribly ugly mark.

You can get professional monitor cleaning products, but with a little knowledge from this thread, and a little bit of elbow grease, you should be fine.

Compressed air works wonders on the keyboard. Look for products like Dust-Off. OCuk should be stocking those imo.

Damp, lint free cloth is the best for cleaning a monitor.
