Cleaning alloy wheels

Hi there,

A couple months back I managed to get some copper slip grease onto my alloy wheels from my hands and now the stuff will not come off!

I've tried scrubbing as hard as I can with one of those hard sponges, tried some alloy wheel cleaner which I can't remember the name of which is rather good but can't remove the copper slip.

Any ideas as to what will remove it?

was it wonder wheels you tried?

i find that gets rids of most things!

Best to give the manufacturers a ring and they'll tell you who is local to you. It's about £7 for a 5 litre bottle (or was). Can use it neat on bad alloys or diluted for normal muck.
