Has anyone used the bottled cleaning stuff made by Arctic yet?.....

I brought some a while ago, think it was £6 or so.

And although there is lots of household things you use for cleaning i cannot tell you guys how much you're missing out.

Its around £6 and will clean loads, and i mean plenty of HSF, cpu's, gpu's, and what not before it runs out, it works absolutely brilliant, just follow the instructions and you have a perfect surface for your compound.

Its like the "shall i use the bog standard pad or arctic" question.

Until you try it, you won't appreciate how effective it is.

Please share opinions, disagree if you will, i don't mind.... its a forum after all ;)

I'm using the Akasa stuff I bought a while ago.

You didnt mention if its any good, but i think i can safely assume your comment means it works well for you.... ;)

I'll be interested to hear what everyone has to say though, its really not that expensive to buy considering how long it lasts.

I'd have to wonder what sort (if much) chemical residue hosue hold items or car related fluids leave behind.

Arctic states using other cleaners or compounds can leave residue in the valleys of the cpu, wether the effect is significent or not is something else, but i feel safer using a product designed for the job.

So you think they just make it all up?....

Have you done the actual research or studied to indicate what they're saying is bull, or are you just making assumptions.

Assumptions don't mean anything, facts and research count more if you ask me.

Well I have used brake cleaner carb cleaner meths Akasa and now this Arctic cleaner, honestly it is superb, if you have a microscope you would see the difference, I had one that I was selling for a friend and tried it, the others leave behind things the Arctic cleaner removes and that's fact, now whether or not it makes any temp difference I cannot tell because I don't have a digital thermometer to measure, but I would assume it should be better because the AS5 can have a clean start.

The main bonus I can see is that it is so good at it's job one kit should last for 200-300 cleans so it's very economical but also SAFE to be kept in the house.

At least someone else appreciates its effectiveness... :D ...... was starting to feel like i dug a hole.
