I’ve got an AW2725DF, and if anyone else owns one, you’ll know it’s a total fingerprint magnet. To keep it clean, I use some really nice Eco Fuse microfiber cloths along with an Eco “natural screen cleaner.” I tried using distilled water at first, but it didn’t seem to remove the marks as easily.
Also—and this might sound a bit strange—I bought some white cotton gloves that I wear while cleaning the monitor. I just want to take good care of my gear.
Anyone else have any cleaning tips or routines?

I tried those microfiber cloths with some bog standard cleaning fluid and it made one hell of a mess on my screen. I’ve just learnt to live with it being dusty, I’d also like to know which fluid is best to use. Sorry that’s not answering your question.

You're not supposed to touch the screen every 5 seconds, then it won't have fingerprints

My sister bought me a fluffy dog type toy thing and said it was a screen cleaner. Thought she was having a laugh but it was brilliant and I bought another since

Some water with literally a drop of washing liquid to break the surface tension, dip a good quality microfiber cloth in the water, squeeze out as much water as possible and wipe the screen. Use another clean dry cloth to buff the screen if it needs it afterwards.

Whoever told you it's a touchscreen definitely saw you coming!

I use ROR, but mostly because it's what I use for my camera.

Scratch my last advice of water with a drop of washing liquid, had a Philips Evnia 32M2N8900 arrive last week. Got a couple of marks on it and tried various methods which just made the marks smear, it would then take me ages to buff out the mess. Looked at some reviews and bought a bottle of iO Clean that arrived today, a small spray on a clean microfiber and a quick wipe, and my screen was clean and smudge free in a few seconds. Have tried other wipes and solutions in the past and found pretty much all made more of a mess than before, just under 500ml was £12.99 on Amazon, that amount will last me years if not decades.

I've always used Zeiss lens wipes. Usually takes 2 to do a 32" monitor. Asda have them on offer again for £2 (24 wipes).

I've no idea if it works on OLED, but I cant see why it wouldn't... Anyway, I had a TV fail and asked the repair company what they use to clean screens, he said glass cleaners such as Windolene, spray on the microfibre, wipe off with the clean side?

Good lord I'd rather not use ammonia or other chemical on my monitor just in case. Plain old water works best
