Curious what people use to clean out the dust and crud from the inside of their rigs. For me its a combination of cotton buds and a very soft toothbrush to get round the fan blades and a microfibre cloth to wipe round the other surfaces.

It mostly does the job but hard to get to every surface

Even with filters I regularly clean out the PC still fills up with crud after a while.

i was worried that the static from the end of the hoover could be bad so never tried it.

DATAVAC 500W - it's a beast

And a paintbrush to clean fan fins.

Have to agree with ripshod - discovered how useful a paint brush can be when cleaning out dust around and on fans etc - very convenient.

I use a small paint brush and a vacuum to get the surface dust off, then use a cheap mains inflator for air beds/toys to blow the rest out.

It removes a lot more dust out than just the vacuum.

Same here.every now and again(or before working on anyones pc)into the garage fire up the compressor and 120psi of cleanliness :D

I used to work for a car dealership and using their airlines to clean out PC's was awesome! :D Looked good as new after a couple of blasts! :D

Its shocking how much dust accumulates in GPU's and radiators  The air line just gets everything spotless with no risk of static and its so quick and easy.

The assemblers don't like it when I bring stuff to their dept and use the air lines, I do it anyway though because its free air!
