So its reached that point where dust is affecting the temps of the cpu dueto the heatsink getting filled with dust.

My dilemma is cans of compressed air, the last can I used was from here and was http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=KB-010-OP&groupid=702&catid=1568&subcat= its from media tech and its output is quite weak for my needs of cleaning out the cpu heatsink.

The vareity I used before was "dust off gaming gear" now this had a nice output but hasnt been in stock for age's now.

Now I have learned not all canned air is connistent in its output can anyone recommend one with a good out put? oranother solution such as an air compressor?

Blow really hard is the cheapest and most convenient option. Reliability tends to vary.
However, I do advise against licking the filter clean.

I use something similar to this.

It's an air pump and can be purchased at your local Ar**s store for around £20.

It's noisy but does a very good job blowing dust out the case.

For fans though I use a paint brush and damp cloth. ;)
